Bisalax 5mg - 200 Tablets may also be used to clean out the intestines before a bowel examination/surgery. Bisacodyl is known as a stimulant laxative. It works by increasing the movement of the intestines, helping the stool to come out.
Adult dose: 2 tablets swallowed whole at bedtime for a bowel action next morning, or 1/2 hour before breakfast for an effect in 6 to 8 hours.Children over 6 years of age: 1 tablet.Do not take antacids within 1 hour of taking Bisalax tablets.
Keep out of reach of children.Prolonged use of laxative is undesirable and may lead to dependence.If symptoms persist seek medical advice.Not recommended for use in children under 6 years of age.
