Description

Panadeine tablets, Strong Pain Relief.

Directions / Dosage

12 years to Adult: 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours with water as required (maximum 8 tablets in 24 hours).
7 to 12 years: Half to 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours with water as required (maximum 4 tablets in 24 hours).

Indications

Effective, temporary relief of strong pain and discomfort associated with:
- Headache
- Migraine Headache
- Tension Headache
- Period Pain
- Back Pain
- Muscle Pain
- Arthritis
- Toothache
- Neuralgia
- Cold and Flu symptoms
- Dental procedures
- Sore throat.

Reduces fever.
Suitable for Asthmatics sensitive to aspirin and NSAIDS.

Ingredients

Each tablet contains: Paracetamol 500mg, Codeine Phosphate 8mg and Potassium Sorbate.

Warnings

Do not use Panadine:
- If using other medicines containing paracetamol or codeine.
- For children below age 7.
- For more than 48 hours in children aged 7-17, except on medical advice.
- For more than a few days at a time in adults, except on medical advice.
- If any of the seals on this package are broken.
- If the packaging use-by date has expired.

Keep to the recommended dose:
If an overdose is taken or suspected, ring the Poisons Information Centre (Australia 131126) or go to the hospital straight away even if you feel well because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage if left untreated.
